We did it - we brought back the Gisborne Christmas Parade!
After a four year hiatus, we are very - very - proud to say that with sponsorship from ProTraffic Gisborne, the parade came back to the streets of our CBD in December 2025 and although it was an absolute scorcher of a Summer's day, it was a great success!
Following the parade was ANLO Collective's "It's a Gizzy Christmas" community event across Marina & Kelvin Parks, for it's second year running. A free, fun, festive and family friendly event for the entire community, with thanks to GDC and Trust Tairawhiti for funding which helped make it happen.

Celebrating and supporting local mobile food vendors, Dinner by the River takes place alongside the Taruheru River on the 3rd Saturday of each month at Marina Park in Gisborne.
It started in February '25 from a love of food and a desire for all of Gizzy's food carts to be in one spot at once so they're easy to find - and that's exactly what we made happen.
From two trial dates sprung a permanent event thanks to vendor participation and an abundance of public support - we can't be more proud and would love to see you down there!

The Gizzy Monthly Market is Gisborne's largest open air artisan market - proudly boasting handmade creations only - among it's stalls.
Located on Marina Park Reserve, the first Saturday of every month brings crafty creators and food trucks from the city and wider region, with products ranging from jewellery and skincare, to metalwork and beeswax candles - plus everything inbetween! Shop local, support small business, and let's go back to the days of investing in handmade products that last generations.

Formerly the Arts and Crafts Gisborne seasonal markets, ANLO Collective acquired this marketspace after being approached by previous A&C committee members when the charity was dissolved. With the intention of revitalising the market and creating your new favourite indoor event, we hit the ground running with new management, a new name and logo and new + returning stallholders. With our third trial market happening at the end of August being another sold out stallholder event, we hope to keep it running for a long time to come.
Stallholder applications are no longer being accepted for the 30th August and will be advertised when available for future dates on our social media channels.

Tairawhiti Gisborne Cruise Ship Markets
On behalf of Eastland Port, we run the seasonal Cruise Ship markets on cruise days within the beautiful Inner Harbour here in Gisborne.
Offering the first shopping experience for our cruise passengers before they head into our CBD, we have a mini market full of local creators with their handmade wares - popular with passengers who are after a slice of our city to take home with them. You'll find us right infront of the 'GIZZY' sign.
Stallholders welcome, please email for further information or join us on Facebook and message the page to be a part of it - we highly recommend the Inner Harbour as your office for the day!
